Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition is conducted by The Greater Bombay Science Teachers’ Association since 1981 to encourage students to take interest in science, to inculcate scientific attitude and to search science talent in students and motivate them towards basic sciences as well as to clear the scientific concepts among them.

Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition is for a regular student of Std. 6^th and Std. 9^th of any board- State, CBSE, ICSE or IB.

There are three stages of Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition. Stage-1: Written Test, Stage-2: Practical Test and Stage-3: Project and interview.
